Sports Therapist (Part-Time/ Full-Time)
Job Type: Part-time, Commission
Salary: £25.00-£50.00 per hour
Part-time hours: 3x 6 hour shifts with scope to add days and hours.
Full-time hours: 4/5x 6 hour shifts.

We are currently looking for a sports therapist to join our new practice in the heart of Bedford in the best group training facility there is!
We are recruiting for a hard working, devoted and ambitious individual to join our growing team, where you will learn, grow and be supported to develop more skills as a sports therapist. You will be supported with our systems and strategies ready-made, in order to help you become fully booked with clientele; you will, also be accompanied with business support, social media and website marketing.

MiBodyX is a sports therapy, injury and performance company currently based in Stevenage and Welwyn garden city and soon to be expanding into Bedford. Our company is focused and devoted to improve and prevent injury for all individuals from sports athletes, amateur and professional, to office workers struggling with injuries and pains through work life and gym training. We are dedicated to providing the best service to our clients with the most up to date and modern/ancient blend of services, to get the most out of the body and correct pain and injury through movement and education.
Responsibilities
To provide sports and deep tissue massage
Strapping and taping techniques to provide support
To advise about stretching and warming up exercises
To examine and assess injuries and carry out rehabilitation
Postural assessment
Mobility screening
To work independently in your own clinic with team support
To carry out treatment notes and booking clients through online systems
Social media advertisement / Content marketing
About You
Applicants must at least have a Sports therapy/Sports rehabilitation degree and a Sports massage qualification
Clinical experience of at least 1 year, first aid qualification, Chinese cupping, (IASTM) Rockblades and Dry Needling / Acupuncture qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Experience of demonstrating exceptional client service skills. Must possess excellent problem-solving skills
Applicants should be proactive, efficient, organised, and comfortable working with minimal supervision
Polite, professional and friendly manner and be able to communicate at all levels
Ability to form strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
Ability to deal sensitively with injured clients
Encouraging and motivational communication style
